Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum applications in finance, healthcare, and AI
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech researchers on next-gen quantum hardware integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for commercially viable quantum systems
- Present findings at global quantum computing conferences (e.g., IEEE QCE)
- Secure $10M+ in research grants through NSF and DoE partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- US citizenship required for government clearance access
