Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Quantum Network Architect to lead the development of the digital infrastructure for the year 2026. At FutureNet Systems, we are building the next generation of the internet, moving beyond binary computing into a realm of quantum entanglement and sub-atomic data processing. If you are ready to push the boundaries of what is possible in telecommunications and network security, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical quantum physics and practical, scalable network engineering. You will be responsible for designing protocols that leverage qubit stability and superposition to create a network that is faster, more secure, and inherently intelligent.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement next-generation quantum routing protocols capable of maintaining entanglement across distributed nodes.
- Develop security architectures that utilize quantum key distribution (QKD) to provide unbreakable encryption for enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate quantum algorithms into legacy network management systems.
- Monitor system stability in a post-silicon environment and troubleshoot decoherence issues in real-time.
- Lead the migration strategy for transitioning current fiber-optic infrastructures to quantum entanglement networks.
- Conduct research into emerging technologies such as photonic computing and neuromorphic networking.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field with a focus on quantum mechanics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-performance networking, distributed systems, or systems architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Q# (Quantum Development Kit).
- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles, including qubits, superposition, and quantum gates.
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, futuristic R&D environment.
