Nexus Digital is on the hunt for a visionary Senior 2D Motion Graphics Engineer to elevate our product storytelling. Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-fidelity 2D animations, transitions, and micro-interactions for web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align visual motion with product goals and user journey mapping.
- Optimize animation assets and code for maximum performance, ensuring 60fps playback on all devices and network conditions.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive style guide and component library to ensure design consistency across the platform.
- Stay at the forefront of 2D design trends, emerging web technologies, and animation libraries to continuously push creative boundaries.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D motion graphics, animation design, or graphic engineering.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) and prototyping tools like Figma.
- Strong command of modern web animation technologies, including GSAP, Lottie, HTML5 Canvas, and SVG.
- Deep understanding of performance optimization techniques for web graphics.
- A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating advanced technical animation skills and creative problem-solving.
