Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and infrastructure using modern frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Optimization: Lead efforts in model optimization, quantization, and inference acceleration to ensure high-performance, low-latency solutions.
- Innovation: Research and implement cutting-edge techniques in NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI to drive product differentiation.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Evaluation: Establish rigorous testing and evaluation frameworks to ensure model accuracy, fairness, and robustness.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, preferably in a high-scale production environment.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, with strong experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Modeling: Extensive experience with deep learning architectures, transformer models (GPT, BERT), and fine-tuning strategies.
- Tools: Experience with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, Airflow) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
