Responsibilities
- Design and implement core microservices for the 2026 Platform using Python and Go.
- Optimize database schemas and query performance for high-throughput transaction processing.
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to define and deliver API specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and enforce rigorous code quality and architectural standards.
- Ensure system scalability, fault tolerance, and security compliance.
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain 99.99% uptime.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST/GraphQL), and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
