Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on emerging technology implications
- Produce trend reports and white papers on disruptive innovations (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Design and implement risk mitigation strategies for technological disruption scenarios
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions aligned with 2026 market projections
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental foresight best practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (GenAI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight software tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trendalyzer)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic transformation initiatives
