Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks targeting 2026+ technological and societal trends
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive market shifts
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry forums
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future insights into product roadmaps
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify partnership opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Exceptional data analysis and visualization capabilities
- Published thought leadership in future trends or innovation
- Experience with cross-functional leadership in tech/innovation environments
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
