Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global technological, social, and economic trends to forecast 2026+ developments
- Develop strategic frameworks for long-term product innovation and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable roadmaps
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive leadership
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype solutions for future-facing challenges
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist conferences and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused tech roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial products
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership or keynote speaking experience preferred
