Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Author executive briefings on disruptive technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Design and implement Horizon's FutureScout™ early-warning system for emerging risks/opportunities
- Keynote at global innovation summits representing Horizon's thought leadership
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and critical analysis
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of publishing industry-defining trend analyses
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CETFO, CFMP) preferred
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption scenarios
- Portfolio of published white papers or books on future trends
- Fluency in at least one strategic foresight modeling framework (e.g., causal layered analysis)
