Responsibilities

- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for emerging tech exploration
- Author high-impact future scenario reports for C-suite and board-level decision-making
- Design ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and AI deployment
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and strategic foresight methodologies
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum computing, or sustainable tech domains
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Published thought leadership in emerging technology journals
- Experience with scenario planning and disruption modeling frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
