Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic innovation framework for emerging tech domains
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to anticipate global market shifts and disruptors
- Author high-impact research papers on future-facing technologies (quantum, AI ethics, biotech)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Represent Nexus at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight analytics team
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic and research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of publishing seminal industry reports or white papers
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning capabilities
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Deep network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Cambridge, Tokyo)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Backcasting)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into executive strategy
