Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market paradigms post-2025
- Develop future-proof strategic frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning models
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in quantum computing, bio-integration, and climate tech
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
