Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, climate tech, and AI sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions using blockchain, neuromorphic computing, and synthetic biology
- Author quarterly 'Future Pulse' reports predicting technological convergence points and market disruptions
- Design ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and quantum encryption implementations
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives at global innovation summits (Davos, CES, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists while publishing in Nature Futures and MIT Technology Review
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through partnerships with DARPA and national innovation institutes
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of implementing AI-driven forecasting models for enterprise transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, cross-impact matrix analysis)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in Python/R for predictive analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Certification in Emerging Technology Strategy from Singularity University or similar
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, NSF) for future-tech initiatives
