Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead interdisciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum AI, biotech fusion)
- Present disruptive innovation roadmaps to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Establish KPIs for emerging tech adoption across healthcare, energy, and mobility sectors
- Curate quarterly 'Future Horizons' symposiums with industry thought leaders
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced methodologies like Delphi and Horizon Scanning
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through compelling future-state proposals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futures studies or tech ethics (IEEE/ACM preferred)
- Proven track record of scaling ventures from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-state commercialization successes
