Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, climate tech, bio-convergence) and forecast their impact on industry landscapes through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks to guide R&D investments and market entry strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on emerging opportunities and systemic risks
- Produce actionable foresight reports using proprietary Horizon Scanning methodologies and predictive modeling
- Partner with Product Innovation teams to embed future-ready principles into development lifecycles
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry roundtables
- Maintain dynamic ecosystem of futurists, academics, and disruptors across 15+ technology domains
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact assessment methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-suite executives and boards
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented in Fortune 500 environments
