Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, climate tech disruption) to build 3-year strategic scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping technology adoption curves to market opportunities
- Develop predictive models for industry transformation using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to board members with data-backed future-state visualizations
- Curate an annual '2026 Futures' report influencing $2B+ investment portfolio decisions
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and scenario planning techniques
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-relevant solutions in our innovation lab
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven track record of developing multi-year future-state roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum, Web3) with academic or research credentials
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics (white papers, keynotes)
- Advanced proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
