Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable tech
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026 market positioning and competitive advantage
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario planning for executive stakeholders
- Drive cross-functional innovation workshops with engineering, design, and business teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
- Present findings to boards and investors to secure funding for transformative initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of translating trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIF) preferred
- Portfolio published in industry journals or major media outlets
