Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for 2026 integration across IoT, AR/VR, and biotech sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive forces and market inflection points
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen interfaces and human-machine interactions
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research to identify commercial opportunities
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and tech trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field
- Deep expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
