Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of the Version 2.6 core infrastructure overhaul.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and establish high-quality coding standards for the engineering team.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Identify and mitigate technical debt, ensuring long-term scalability and performance of the platform.
- Drive the integration of new APIs and third-party services required for the Version 2.6 roadmap.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong command of at least two modern languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript).
- Proven track record of leading the development of major software releases, specifically demonstrating experience with version upgrades or complex refactors.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
