Responsibilities
- Technology Roadmap: Define and execute the long-term technology strategy for Expo 2026, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the event theme.
- Infrastructure Leadership: Oversee the planning and deployment of critical infrastructure, including 5G networks, IoT sensors, and cloud computing systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executive leadership, government officials, and international partners to communicate technical vision and progress.
- Innovation Integration: Identify and integrate emerging technologies (AI, AR/VR) to enhance visitor experiences and operational efficiency.
- Crisis Management: Lead the technical response team for cybersecurity threats, system outages, and large-scale technical disruptions during the event.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects or mega-events.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure), network security, and system integration.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets exceeding $10 million.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
