Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the development of large-scale, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- System Design: Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions using industry best practices.
- Technical Guidance: Mentor junior architects and developers, conducting code reviews and architectural reviews to ensure quality standards.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze system bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve throughput and reduce latency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and deliverables.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to security standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software development and 5+ years in a senior technical architect role.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Programming: Proficiency in at least two major languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or C++).
- Architecture Patterns: Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving critical technical challenges in high-pressure environments.
