Responsibilities
- Develop and test scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Optimize database performance through SQL query refinement and indexing strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker containerization
- Conduct code reviews and pair programming sessions with senior engineers
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints using Swagger/OpenAPI
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives using JIRA
- Debug and resolve production issues with real-time monitoring tools
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles and HTTP protocols
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and basic SQL
- Strong problem-solving skills with algorithmic thinking
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Available for 3-6 months with 40 hours/week commitment
