Responsibilities
- Assist in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review sessions.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing codebases to improve system performance and stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UI/UX designers, to define features.
- Document technical requirements and architecture decisions.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language and web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and version control systems (Git) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Must be available to work 20-25 hours per week during the summer/fall.
