Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Participate in Agile sprints with daily stand-ups and retrospectives
- Write unit tests and contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation
- Debug and optimize application performance using monitoring tools
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement responsive frontend components
- Document technical specifications and create API documentation
- Present project progress to engineering leadership bi-weekly
Qualifications
- Pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and OOP
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java/Python preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) or containerization (Docker)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
- Available for 20-30 hours/week during Summer/Fall 2024
