Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Contribute to code reviews and documentation of technical specifications
- Participate in agile development cycles with daily stand-ups and sprint planning
- Build responsive UI components following accessibility best practices
- Analyze user data to inform product improvements and feature enhancements
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities through personal projects or hackathons
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Available for 20-40 hours/week for 12+ weeks starting June or September 2024
