Responsibilities
- Develop and test scalable backend services using Python and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on sprint deadlines
- Debug and optimize application performance using monitoring tools like Datadog
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Present project progress and outcomes to engineering leadership
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies
- Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Available for 40 hours/week during summer (June-August) or fall (September-December) term
