Responsibilities
- Code Development: Assist the development team in writing, testing, and debugging code for web and mobile applications.
- Project Support: Participate in the design and implementation of new features, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver cohesive products.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and code comments, to ensure maintainability.
- Testing: Write and execute unit tests to identify bugs and improve software reliability.
- Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best coding practices through internal training and workshops.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and development tools such as VS Code or IntelliJ.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Ability to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, with the option to continue into the Fall semester.
