Responsibilities
- Develop and Test: Assist in the design, coding, and testing of software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Code Quality: Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices, maintainability, and efficiency.
- Debugging: Identify and fix bugs in existing codebases to improve system stability.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise technical documentation and update project wikis.
- Agile Collaboration: Engage in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align with product goals.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and API development.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time for the Summer or Fall 2023 semester.
