We are specifically seeking candidates with little to no prior professional experience but a strong passion for coding and learning.
In this role, you will work alongside senior developers to build scalable web applications and support our core tech stack. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and transition into a full-time position upon graduation.
Responsibilities
- Assist the development team in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern languages (Python, JavaScript, or React).
- Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions to learn industry best practices.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to stay aligned with project goals.
- Research emerging technologies and tools to suggest improvements to existing workflows.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Enthusiastic learner with a basic understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable transportation to our NYC office.
