Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and product managers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, JavaScript, or Java using modern frameworks.
- Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure software stability and performance.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for codebases, APIs, and internal processes.
- Deployment: Assist in CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to ensure smooth releases.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C++). Familiarity with SQL and version control systems like Git.
- Academic Performance: Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically about software architecture.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to work at least 20-25 hours per week during the semester and full-time during breaks.
