Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, socio-economic shifts, and disruptive innovations through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational resilience and market positioning
- Champion 'first principles thinking' to challenge industry assumptions and identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Design and execute foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, cross-impact matrices, and superforecasting
- Translate future insights into product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and investment priorities
- Build and lead a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Present compelling future narratives to executive teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, Economics, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
- Mastery of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies (AI-driven analytics, ethnographic studies)
- Experience with emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future concepts
