- Analyze emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify first-mover opportunities
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budgets through data-driven ROI projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups for collaborative R&D
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders with compelling narratives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation management or strategic planning within tech/life sciences sectors
- Proven track record launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Blue Ocean)
- Experience managing distributed teams across 3+ time zones
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS) strongly preferred
