Responsibilities
- Monitor Operations: Oversee inventory management and system logs during off-peak hours to ensure seamless 24/7 workflow.
- Data Analysis: Assist the night operations team in analyzing shift data to identify trends and improve efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain Apex Logistics' high standards.
- System Maintenance: Support IT staff with basic troubleshooting, software updates, and database entry tasks during night shifts.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between day and night operations teams, providing detailed shift reports and handovers.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current night shift procedures and propose actionable solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, IT, or related field).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Start Date: Ability to start in Summer 2024 or Fall 2024.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and basic computer literacy.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
