Responsibilities
- Analyze local business and community datasets using Python, SQL, and visualization tools
- Support development of neighborhood impact assessment reports
- Create interactive dashboards for local government partners
- Assist in A/B testing for civic tech initiatives
- Document data processes and maintain data integrity standards
- Present findings to stakeholders and community groups
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in bachelor's program in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib)
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis methods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to Oakland's community development goals
