Responsibilities
- Develop and test IoT sensors for soil moisture monitoring systems
- Analyze farm data using Python and machine learning models
- Assist in designing mobile applications for farmer dashboards
- Document technical specifications and create user documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototype development
- Participate in weekly innovation sprints and hackathons
- Present project findings to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, or C++ programming
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Basic knowledge of IoT hardware and sensors
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Available for 20-40 hours/week through Fall 2024
