What You'll Do:
- Assist with Supply Chain Operations: Support the daily management of inbound and outbound freight, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Compile and analyze shipping data to generate reports that help optimize logistics routes and reduce costs.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients, providing updates on shipment status and resolving inquiries.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records for our regional distribution center.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities for the company.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and propose innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Who You Are:
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Availability: Able to commit to a Summer or Fall start and work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced maritime environment.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities
- Assist with Supply Chain Operations and daily freight management.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics.
- Able to start Summer or Fall 2024 with 20+ hours availability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
