Responsibilities
- Conduct legislative research and draft policy briefings for congressional clients
- Monitor congressional hearings, markups, and committee proceedings
- Assist in organizing stakeholder briefings and Capitol Hill events
- Support communications team with press release drafting and social media content
- Track federal legislation and regulatory developments in assigned policy areas
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with advocacy and government relations teams
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program
- Strong academic standing (minimum 3.2 GPA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and research databases
- Interest in government relations, public policy, or political science
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must be eligible for college credit through your institution
