Responsibilities
- Monitor Data Systems: Assist in the real-time tracking and logging of incoming shipments and inventory data during night operations.
- Quality Assurance: Perform routine inspections and audits of packages to ensure accuracy and safety standards are met.
- Report Generation: Compile daily shift reports and assist in identifying trends or discrepancies in the night shift workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with morning shift supervisors to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of operations.
- Process Improvement: Observe daily operations and suggest minor, actionable improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep and cleaning of workstations and scanning equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the summer months, specifically on night shifts (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and comfortable learning new data management software.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members and management.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous jobs or academic settings.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy when processing data and handling inventory.
