As a Summer Intern, you will support our high-volume weekend logistics operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks, from inventory management to client coordination. Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and execution of weekend warehouse activities and inventory audits.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Support the customer service team by answering inquiries and resolving issues during peak weekend hours.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital records using our logistics software.
- Collaborate with team leads to identify workflow improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Participate in weekly intern shadowing sessions and skill-building workshops.
- Prepare daily reports summarizing operational performance and key metrics.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of the summer internship.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various Chicago locations if required.
- Enthusiastic attitude and a proactive approach to learning new processes.
