Responsibilities
- Develop and Test: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for web and mobile applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define and implement features.
- Debug and Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and contribute to code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to propose innovative solutions.
- Meetings: Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and team workshops to align on project goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Academic Performance: A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a passion for learning new technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the summer internship (12-16 weeks).
