Responsibilities
- Inventory Monitoring: Track and record incoming and outgoing shipments during the overnight shift to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in inspecting received goods for damage and accuracy against packing lists.
- Data Entry: Maintain digital logs and inventory databases using our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Operational Support: Support the night team with sorting, labeling, and organizing stock areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Reporting: Compile daily shift reports on stock discrepancies and operational issues for the day shift management.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a High School Diploma or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) for the duration of the summer internship.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
