Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of local area networks (LAN) and wireless networks.
- Support weekend help desk operations, resolving user technical issues efficiently.
- Conduct software installations, updates, and system backups during off-peak hours.
- Monitor system performance logs to ensure 99.9% uptime for critical applications.
- Collaborate with the IT team to document technical processes and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and peripherals for office staff.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) during the Summer/Fall semester.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with non-technical staff.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
