Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support for hardware/software issues during night shift hours
- Monitor network systems and servers for performance/security alerts
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate ticket logs
- Assist with software installations, updates, and patch management
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless handover procedures
- Participate in cross-departmental IT projects as assigned
- Contribute to knowledge base documentation and training materials
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing IT/Computer Science degree
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira preferred)
- Valid driver's license (for occasional equipment transport)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs for hardware maintenance tasks
