Responsibilities
- Assist in the nightly receipt, verification, and processing of incoming inventory shipments.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and stock integrity.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners to log stock movements.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
- Support quality control checks on products to ensure they meet Apex Logistics standards.
- Handle packaging and labeling tasks for outbound deliveries with precision and speed.
- Document any discrepancies or safety concerns immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a High School Diploma or GED program, or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the summer months.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy (MS Office suite).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods as required by warehouse operations.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
