Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain 24/7 IT infrastructure during night shift operations
- Assist with cybersecurity threat detection and incident response protocols
- Support network administration tasks including VLAN configuration and firewall management
- Document system logs, performance metrics, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with day-shift teams on cross-functional IT projects
- Participate in rotating on-call support for critical systems
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related program
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- CompTIA Security+ or Network+ certification preferred
- Available for 20-30 hours/week during summer/fall
