Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy microservices using Python/Node.js on AWS cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement RESTful APIs and optimize database queries
- Participate in Agile sprints using JIRA and Git for version control
- Conduct unit testing and code reviews following industry best practices
- Build responsive UI components with React.js and modern CSS frameworks
- Document technical specifications and contribute to our engineering wiki
- Mentor junior interns during pair programming sessions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree (rising junior/senior)
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript with understanding of data structures
- Familiarity with Git, Linux command line, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) or Docker containers
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through personal projects
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in remote/hybrid settings
- Available for full-time commitment (40hrs/week) through Fall semester
