Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with senior engineers and product managers to design, develop, and test high-quality software solutions.
- Debug: Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and fixing bugs in existing codebases to ensure system stability and performance.
- Develop: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Agile: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Document: Create and maintain technical documentation, API specs, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Innovate: Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to solve complex technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Basic understanding of software development principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript preferred).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and basic database knowledge (SQL).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer internship (12-16 weeks).
