Responsibilities
- Develop and test IoT devices for marine environmental monitoring
- Analyze coastal data using Python and machine learning tools
- Collaborate on UX design for maritime tech applications
- Document technical processes and create project documentation
- Participate in agile development sprints and team retrospectives
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders and senior engineers
- Support field testing of new coastal protection systems
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, or C++ programming
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or IoT frameworks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Available for 40 hours/week from June to August 2024
- Interest in environmental tech or coastal innovation
- Portfolio or GitHub demonstrating relevant projects (preferred)
