Responsibilities
- SEO & Content Strategy: Assist in conducting keyword research and optimizing web content to improve search engine rankings for our clients.
- Web Development Support: Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot basic code issues and update website elements.
- Social Media Management: Draft and schedule social media posts, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze website traffic data to provide actionable insights for marketing campaigns.
- Project Coordination: Support the project management team in organizing schedules, preparing meeting materials, and tracking deadlines.
- Marketing Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activities within the industry.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
- Location: Must reside in Kansas City, MO OR California (for remote positions).
- Academic Standing: Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 required to ensure academic credit eligibility.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, Google Analytics, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Availability: Ability to work part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the summer months.
