Responsibilities
- Assist with Weekend Operations: Support the store manager in ensuring smooth daily operations during peak weekend hours, including opening and closing procedures.
- Customer Engagement: Provide high-quality customer service by answering inquiries, assisting with product selection, and resolving complaints efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Help monitor stock levels, organize merchandise displays, and assist with inventory counts and stockroom organization.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales floor team to maintain a clean, safe, and organized shopping environment.
- Merchandising Support: Assist in setting up promotional displays and ensuring product signage is accurate and up-to-date.
- Administrative Tasks: Help with data entry, processing returns, and maintaining accurate sales records.
Qualifications
- Enrollment: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or associate degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) for the duration of the summer internship program.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with computers and POS systems is a plus.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
